Savings
The bank has created savings and loan products which equip women with liquids assets. The bank requires all of its borrowers to open savings accounts and to save regularly- daily, weekly, or monthly.
There are 3 types of saving accounts:
- Regular Savings: maximum of 2 withdrawals per week
- Term Deposits: held for 15 days to 3 years
- Weekly and Monthly deposits: held for 6 months, 1 year, or longer
Mann Deshi is one of the few banks in the country that does door to door savings every day, in order to encourage regular savings.
